CURRENT UPDATES, June 2011

While a production can never legally reveal any information that is not 'official' yet, we can certainly divulge the types of activities in progress.

The East of Byzantium Graphic Novel is well underway. We are exploring the best way to deliver the content to those eagerly awaiting it and getting the most exposure, and likewise tie all that in with film clips of back story and side characters. The Graphic Novel was requested as a necessary step by studios to consider a story previously unknown by the mainstream.

Here again are the sample pages presented previously. These are part of an 8-page Ashcan that will be given out as a free gift at conventions, once the epic's first volume is published. Copies of the full 8-page sample have been passed around as part of pitch meetings we've had. The completed Vartan Collectible statue is also pictured here.

And as per funding, Kupelian and Co. have continued taking meetings with producers and production companies interested in either the earlier (301 AD) story arc or the later (451 AD) story arc. Once there is an official agreement there will be a detailed announcement.

Kupelian has agreed to a candid interview when next he has a chance to look up from his Cintiq. Here's a snapshot of work in progress. More samples to come so stay tuned.
